Reaper's Grind begins with a legend as mysterious as the dark, aromatic beans found in our unique blends. High in the Ethiopian highlands, the local tribes believed in a mythical figure known as the Reaper, who was worshipped as the guardian of the harvest and prosperity. Unlike the Grim persona the term evokes today, the Reaper in these traditions as a symbol of life, fertility, and abundance.

Legend has it that the Reaper once appeared to a humble farmer during the brightness of a full moon, guiding him to a hidden grove where coffee plants grew wild and untamed. The Reaper imparted to the farmer the secrets of cultivating this magical crop, instructing him to care for the plants and swearing him to promise to share the delicious brew with the world. Thus began the culitvation of what would later become, The Reaper's Grind.
